Pressure Vessels

EEI has designed and supplied pressure vessels up to 200 bar and temperature 500 deg C with carbon steel, alloy steels and stainless steel under U stamp certification.

pressure vessel is a storage tank or vessel designed to hold fluids (gases or liquids or both) at high pressures.

EEI has manufactured pressure vessels and tanks for a wide range of industrial applications.  These include industrial compressed air receivers, small reactor vessels for laboratories, pressure vessels for testing high pressure components, storage vessels for liquefied gases such as ammonia, chlorine, propane, butane, and LPG and pressure vessels used in oil refineries and polished vessels for food and drinks production.

The pressure vessels are sized based on the process condition & requirement and designed as per various international codes of practice like ASME, DIN, API.

Air receiver tanks are designed used for compressed air storage to provide a supply buffer to meet short term demandsbetween the compressor and the consumption system.

EEI has designed, manufactured and supplied air receivers up to a volume of 35 m3 and a pressure of 20 kg/cm2 (g).


A knockout drum is used to separate the entrained droplets from vapour steam. Itisoftennecessarytoseparateliquidandgasphases inacertain stageofan operationor process.

EEI has designed, manufactured and supplied several knockout drums for oil field system of national and international customers. The maximum efficiency achieved by the EEI knockout drum and mist eliminator configuration is 99.96 %.


The function of a flash tank is to allow high pressure condensate to flash and obtain low pressure steam. This low pressure steam is then used to supply heat to a “low” pressure supply main. It can also be used to reduce and cool to low-pressure steam before re-introducing it to the boiler or condensate receiver, or discharge directly from the system.


Blow down tanks are designed to solve the problem of boiler feed water impurities and also to manage the temperature and pressure by reducing the temperature and pressure of the blowdown discharge from the boiler.

EEI has designed, manufactured and supplied more than 150 blowdown vessels to our national and international customers.


EEI has designed and manufactured reactor vessel of 7.5 kl capacity at 20 kg/cm2 pressure with 316SS material. Reactor vessels with turbine blades have been manufactured and supplied.

Jacketed reactor vessels are used with steam for heating or cooling in chemical industry and pharmaceutical industry basically due to its temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. At EEI we customize for the material and application.
